In "Two for the Money", Brandon Lang (Matthew McConaughey) is a talented college football player with a bright and lucrative future ahead of him, until he is badly injured, ending his chances to play professional football. Instead, he uses his incredible knowledge and instincts about the game of football to predict point spreads for sports bettors. Eventually, he meets star sports-book owner Walter Abrams and gets introduced to a world of riches and possibilities for hedonism beyond his wildest dreams. Lang must decide if he will be true to his small-town, good-guy self, or if he will embrace all of the rich but dangerous temptations before him - including Abrams' own wife! He also runs into competition from other employees in the industry, who are not so quick to give up the spotlight to this new guy in town. Brandon Lang must struggle to keep his confidence, even if he is not always winning, and prove to everyone that he is not just a flash in the pan in the glitzy, fast-paced world of gambling.
